Celebrating New England Past and Present.

We love an ambitious project. A century after its heyday, Himmel Hospitality wanted to give Boston a modern interpretation of a long-retired concept: the New England fish house. Amid COVID, our team was tasked with creating and launching a robust and iconic identity system for this swanky new property in the Back Bay.

Casting our lines

Though we looked to New England’s past for inspiration, with nods to vintage photography and the work of Winslow Homer, a fresh palette and clean typography kept this work firmly in the present. We love how the resulting brand balances grit with grace, preppy with playful.

“The Banks would not have been the same without your hard work, enthusiasm, and creative vision. There is no team more talented and more fun to work with.”
